Yearbook Message
"Genesis"
by Kristian Harvey Lumba

In the beginning, there was uncertainty. There were faces and all of them were unreachable by the other. They were still separated by barriers that were still to be removed. And because of this, the room they were in, although lighted, appeared to be dark and empty.

Suddenly, the door opened and there was light. On this light is the silhouette of an astute person. The children stood and greeted him "teacher." The teacher asked the students to introduce themselves and, gradually, there came unity. The strangers became acquaintances and all of them became one class in one section.

Their teacher was not alone in his noble mission. There were other teachers. Each imposed different challenges that the youngsters must solve. And there was learning. The students were taught how to seek, what to seek, and where to seek. And in their hearts they found interest for the world, because they were turned then into avid learners.

And the time came, at last, they had surmounted all the difficulties they faced. They were, at this point, fit to enter a new segment in the chapter of their lives. They shall walk on separate roads but they shall carry each other within their hearts, for there is friendship. They have destroyed the fragile barriers and have replaced them with eternal bonds.

I Could Not Ask For More
by Edwin McCain

Lying here with you
Listening to the rain
Smiling just to see
The smile upon your face

And these are the moments
I thank God that I'm alive
And these are the moments
I'll remember all my life
I found all I've waited for
And I could not ask for more

Looking in your eyes
Seeing all I need
Everything you are
Is everything to me
And these are the moments
I know heaven must exist

And these are the moments
I know all I need is this
I have all I've waited for, yeah
And I could not ask for more

I could not ask for more than this time together
I could not ask for more than this time with you
And every prayer has been answered
And every dream has come true
Yeah, right here in this moment
Is right where I'm meant to be
Oh, here with you, here with ME, oh

Yeah
Alright

Alright

And these are the moments
I thank God that I'm alive
And these are the moments
I'll remember all my life
I've got all I've waited for, yeah
And I could not ask for more

I could not ask for more than this time together
I could not ask for more than this time with you
And every prayer has been answered
And every dream has come true
Yeah, right here in this moment
Is right where I'm meant to be
Here with you, here with ME

I could not ask for more
Than the love you give me
'Cause it's all I've waited for
And I could not ask for more, more, ah, ah
Yeah, yeah
And I could not ask for more

I'm Your Angel
by Celine Dion and R Kelly

No mountain's too high for you to climb
All you have to do is have some climbing faith, oh, yeah
No river's too wide for you to make it across
All you have to do is believe it when you pray

And then you will see the morning will come
And everyday will be bright as the sun
All of your fears—cast them on me
I just want you to see...

I'll be your cloud up in the sky
I'll be your shoulder when you cry
I'll HEAR your voices when you call me
I am your angel
And when all hope is gone, I'm HERE
No matter how far you are, I'm NEAR
It makes no difference who you are
I am your angel
I'm your angel

I saw your teardrops, and I heard you cry
All you need is time
Seek me and you shall find
You have everything, and you're still lonely
It don't have to be this way
Let me show you a better day

And then you will see the morning will come
And all of your days will be bright as the sun
So, all of your fears—just cast them on me
How can I make you see?

I'll be your cloud up in the sky
I'll be your shoulder when you cry
I'll hear your voices when you call me
I am your angel
And when all hope is gone, I'm here
No matter how far you are, I'm near
It makes no difference who you are
I am your angel
I'm your angel

And when it's time to face the storm
I'll be right by your side
Grace will keep US safe and warm
And I know WE will survive

And when it seems as if YOUR end is drawing near
Don't you dare give up the fight
Just put your trust beyond the skies

I'll be your cloud up in the sky
I'll be your shoulder when you cry
I'll hear your voices when you call me
I am your angel
And when all hope is gone, I'm here
No matter how far you are, I'm near
It makes no difference who you are
I am your angel
I'm your angel

I'll be your cloud up in the sky
I'll be your shoulder when you cry
I'll hear your voices when you call me
I am your angel
And when all hope is gone, I'm here
No matter how far you are, I'm near
It makes no difference who you are
I am your angel
I'm your angel

I'll be your cloud up in the sky
I'll be your shoulder when you cry
I'll hear your voices when you call me
I'm your angel

Bulacan Hymn (March and Anthem) Makulay na Bulakenyo Lyrics (Tagalog and English)

The lyrics posted in this page were hard to find. I found them on Scribd, and was forced to create a free trial to access the lyrics. I decided to copy the lyrics here and post the English translation. Bulacan is a province in the Philippines adjacent to Pampanga in the West, Nueva Ecija in the north, and the National Capital Region in the east. It is located in the Region III, Central Luzon. Christmas Celebration in the Philippines (Calumpit, Bulacan) Mulpitac, Buracan

Christmas Celebration and Decoration in a Small Rural Town Back in December 28, 2014, I wrote an article about Christmas in Calumpit, Bulacan, Philippines. The link to it doesn't work anymore, as it is a very old article and it has no visitors. I wanted to repost it here. The original link is https://hubpages.com/holidays/we-found-christmas-in-calumpit under the pen name Tanara Lee. Children of Calumpit town in the Philippines light candles for Virgin Mary's statue The land of true love is still keeping faithfully the Christian traditions passed down to them by the Spanish priests in the year 1572, when they first docked in the town. One can see the joy in the faces of the people as they sing through masses and hear words of sheer love flowing from the mouth of their parochial priest. And although Christmas may not originally have been a Christian tradition, it was Christianity that introduced it to the people of this town, and they do celebrate it as very zealous Christians,
