There were faces and all of them were unreachable by the other. They were still separated by barriers that were still to be removed. And because of this, the room they were in, although lighted, appeared to be dark and empty. Suddenly, the door opened and there was light. On this light is the silhouette of an astute person. A Memory of Calumpit (A Poem)

A Memory of Mulpitak by Kristian Harvey Lumba I remember the beat of my heart Back then, when we first met at the start Now a memory's all that I got Since you stole it with words that you spat Till now the reason I don't know what. If learning's really what we best do Then I don't need to look to you What you do is so illogical,  Destructive and not beneficial. And your love was just artificial. See, I do not need to be grateful, Have every reason to be hateful. ===== Superbe solus et superior

The Pontifical and Royal University of Santo Tomas (UST or USTe)

The Pontifical and Royal University of Santo Tomas, a fountain seen from a bridge outside of the campus The Pontifical and Royal University of Santo Tomas: I envy the people who study here. It is the oldest university in Asia, and being that, it has honed a lot of important people in our history. Its former students include former Bulacan Governor Wilhelmino Sy-Alvarado, former President Diosdado Macapagal, and our national hero, Dr. José Rizal. It is also the alma mater of the only prime minister of Spain with Filipino blood, Marcelo de Azcárraga Palmero. In this photo is a fountain in the university seen from the outside of the university.
