Right Rotation
by C. Lombai
Scowling, across the bright, moving screen,
Involuntary twitch--pleasure green,
You should be on top, there you I've seen.
Four sides on a square; where have you been?
You're smile will change. Right, you're beautiful.
Lost goals and desires--dutiful?
Can't understand; subs, unhelpful.
Flower? Down, roots; up, petals artful.
When you rotate, do you distort too?
A flash of light and a pose will do.
You capture subjects like in a zoo.
Nature's upside-down; web, spider's poo.
At home on your phone in the background.
Vulcan shows you he's always around.
Right, I love you, do I stutter proud?
If I stutter, I should not be loud.
Emoji, too, has one of its own.
Top, the sad lips; down, the eyes are shown.
On your behest, while I'm on my throne.
When I go down, you serve me, I groan.
There's no right rotation, now I know.
Even when he's in the square, the foe?
The natural way is gravity.
Easy gestures, words; unhindered, free.
